Above: Newton's lab considered the idea of a very physical and realistic structure which would enforce 'the idea and principle of mathematics to control the physical universe', thus there was a central focus towards structural integrity and how the structure was supported.

Above :On the otherhand, Freud's lab was the exact opposite, pulling towards a drift in reality into a universe that explored dreams and how one may find layers upon layer of secret desires embedded within the structure. This pushed towards the exploration of how partitions could help to enhance the feeling of layers and the idea of exploration.

 I wanted to consider the interaction of structure and environment, the idea that that one would like to find a built structure which could be enclosed and isolated from the outside as shown by the labs but also interactive with the its surrounding.....the main walkway, a scenic tour of the environment that led up to the climax of the meeting point which was designed almost like a viewing platform to enjoy contextual environment space.
