Building structure was  based on hypotheses made on Sigmund Freud stating: Buildings are like dreams - they express our secret desires. Hence the use of layers within the structure to demonstrate the many levels of dreams and desires a person might have, the subtraction of a rectangular prism through the layers creating an opening is supposed to demonstrate that a building may be able to express our secret desires.
